Our regular after-school weekly drama workshops for children are specially designed to develop skills that will benefit them for life. With over 30 years of experience, we know exactly what to do to bring out the best in everyone.
Workshops include improvisation, role-play, movement, drama games and teamwork that fuel the imagination. But, we don't just fuel the imagination, we have a cheeky break for squash and biscuits, as well.
There are lots of opportunities to show off your new skills; whether it's in a fully staged show, or an informal end-of-term performance - children are always guaranteed a great reception. There's also the chance to take nationally recognised exams, with Trinity College, London. Most importantly, everything that we do is a lot of fun.
Our experienced crew members are all Enhanced DBS checked.
Our uniform is a zip-up hoodie, that children can personalise with their name on the back.
Our weekly workshops have been planned and will be operated in accordance with the most recent Government guidance 'Protective measures for out-of-school settings during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak'
In response to the current COVID-19 crisis, the following additional safety measures will be in place:
We've reduced our capacity to a maximum of 15 children per workshop and will make sure that the most current social distancing requirements are followed. Children will be kept in small, consistent groups of no more than six in a 'pod' on a week to week basis.
We'll make sure that everyone is given clear guidance about staying far enough apart and there will be regular reminders about hand washing and hygiene. Hand sanitiser will be readily available.
Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms must not to come to workshop until they have met the self-isolation or testing requirements. We have a robust isolation protocol should anyone shows symptoms while they are with us.
We'll operate a contactless arrival and departure system, including a temperature check. Parents/carers will complete relevant care information online in advance.
Children must bring their own drink. Snacks are not allowed.
The venue will be throughly cleaned at the beginning/end of each evening. Touch hotspots will be regularly disinfected throughout the workshop. Equipment used will be minimal. It will be cleaned/disinfected at the end of each activity. Surfaces will be cleaned before and after use.
Protective gloves and face masks will be available if need. Gloves and masks will be worn when administering first aid.
