Missing Child Procedure
At The Man In The Moon, we are vigilant about the possibility of children going missing during sessions. Our procedures are designed to minimise this risk and ensure a swift and coordinated response if a child cannot be located:

-
Head Counts: Crew members will conduct periodic head counts, especially during transitions between locations, to monitor children's whereabouts.

-
Steps to Take When a Child Is Missing:
-
Inform all crew members immediately that a child is missing.
-
Conduct a thorough search of the premises and surrounding area.
-
After 10 minutes, inform the police. Simultaneously, contact the child's parents/carers.
-
Continue searching for the child while waiting for the police and parents/carers to arrive.
-
Maintain normal routines as much as possible for the rest of the children.
-
Liaise with the police and the child's parent/carer to coordinate efforts.
-

-
