We begin: 7.30pm, Friday 11 July
We perform: 7.30pm, Saturday 12 July 2025
There’s some really important information here – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Some of you have taken part in a 24hr Musical before. For others, this will be your first time. Either way, you’re about to embark on a mad, brilliant, emotional, unforgettable rollercoaster of creativity, teamwork and theatre magic.
Yes – there may be nerves, tiredness, and the odd moment of panic… but the sense of achievement, camaraderie and joy at the end is unbeatable.
Before the Day ✅
Casting is confirmed. If your circumstances have changed and you cannot now take part, you must let us know immediately. If you’ve committed, we are counting on you to be there.
Arrival time on Friday: from 6.00pm.
Please arrive by 7.20pm latest.
We announce the show at 7.30pm sharp!
Overnight Arrangements 🕛
Once we begin, you are in it for the full 24 hours.
Between midnight and 7am, the shopping centre will be locked, and no one will be able to leave the theatre. Please plan ahead and bring everything you’ll need to stay comfortable and alert.
The air conditioning at BUZZ can be unpredictable, so come prepared for both warm and cool conditions.
There isn’t a formal sleeping area, but we’ll have a quiet zone for anyone who needs a nap. Some people power through, while others do better with short breaks – you know your limits. Please be sensible and take care of yourself.
Tickets 🎟
The show is SOLD OUT, but if you have tickets you can’t use, please tell us and we’ll try to connect you with people who are still looking for seats.
Script 📜
We’ll provide a PDF version of the script. The deadline to order a printed copy has now passed. We may have a couple of spare copies, so drop us a message if you'd still like one.
Food & Breaks 🍽
You are responsible for your own meals throughout the 24 hours. The Peacocks food court is open from 9am to 6pm, and there are other food options within walking distance of BUZZ.
There isn’t a microwave (or any way to heat food) or a fridge on site. However, there will be an urn with hot water available. Please keep any food preparation areas clean and tidy – there’s no one to clean up after you.
We’ll have scheduled breaks, but they must run on time. Please keep an eye on your watch so we can keep everything moving smoothly.
Travel & Parking 🚗
-
Please avoid driving yourself on Friday evening, unless you have arranged for someone else to collect you after the performance on Saturday.
-
Parking in Woking town centre is expensive.
-
We strongly advise against driving home on Saturday evening as you’ll be very tired.
Lift Sharing & Public Transport 🚙
-
Lift sharing is highly encouraged – please get together and plan your transport now.
-
Woking Station is an easy walk from the theatre if you prefer to travel by train.
Venue 🎭
-
BUZZ is on Level 1 of the Peacocks Centre, Woking GU21 6GH.
-
It’s on the left as you walk towards the New Victoria Theatre..
Wellbeing ❤️
This is a high-energy, high-pressure challenge – but it should also be fun, supportive and inclusive. Please be kind to others and to yourself. If you feel overwhelmed or need a breather, take a break and speak to a member of the team.
Photos & Video 📸
We’ll be capturing behind-the-scenes photos and videos throughout the 24 hours. If you don’t want to be featured in any media, please let us know in advance.
You’ll need your phone to record songs/dances for rehearsal. We’ll be sharing files via a Google Drive folder during the project. If you've ordered a hard copy of the libretto, you will need highlighters and pencils as well.
