Visitor Policy

The Man In The Moon is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for the children under our care.

When managing visitors, we adhere to the following procedures:

  • Visitor Sign-In:

    • All visitors must sign the Visitor Log upon arrival.

  • Identity Verification:

    • The identity of each visitor will be checked and documented in the Visitor Log.

  • Further Verification (if necessary):

    • If crew members require additional confirmation of the visitor's identity, they may contact the visitor's employing organisation (e.g., Ofsted, Local Authority, Environmental Health Department) for reassurance.

  • Reason for Visit:

    • The purpose of the visit will be recorded in the Visitor Log.

  • Supervision:

    • Visitors will never be left alone or unsupervised with the children.

  • Unauthorised Visitors:

    • If a visitor has no legitimate reason for being on the premises, crew members will politely escort them off the premises.

  • Refusal to Leave:

    • Should a visitor refuse to leave when asked, crew members will contact the police. An Incident Log will be completed in such instances.

  • Departure Record:

    • Upon departure, the time of departure will be recorded on the Visitor Log.
