Even through uncertain times, our drama day camps are an ideal solution for what to do during the long summer holiday - especially for creative young minds. Experienced and enthusiastic crew members are there to inspire, helping children make new friends, believe in themselves and build their confidence.
Every day we play fantastic games, build our acting skills and create some brilliant improvisations.
We have a fantastic venue, Camelsdale School in Haslemere, Surrey, which offers convenient access from the A3 and surrounding villages.
Day Camp provides an exceptional standard of care. There is a ratio of at least one crew member to six children and our overall group number will not exceed twelve children. This ensures that high standards are maintained and that children remain with familiar, friendly faces.
Our crew members are selected through a thorough recruitment process and are Enhanced DBS checked. We are fully registered and inspected by Ofsted. There is at least one fully trained first aider on site at all times.
Our summer workshops have been planned and will be operated in accordance with the most recent Government guidance 'Protective measures for out-of-school settings during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak'
In response to the current COVID-19 crisis, the following additional safety measures will be in place:
We've reduced our capacity to just twelve children per day and will make sure that the most current social distancing requirements are followed. Children will be kept in small, consistent groups of no more than six in a 'pod'.
Parents/carers are encouraged to limit the number of different settings their child attends, ideally ensuring their child only attends the same setting consistently.
We'll ensure that we make as much use of the fantastic space outside as we can. Weather permitting, we'll be outside.
We'll make sure that everyone is given clear guidance about staying far enough apart and there will be regular reminders about hand washing and hygiene. Hand sanitiser will be readily available.
Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms must not to come to day camp until they have met the self-isolation or testing requirements. We have a robust isolation protocol should anyone shows symptoms while they are with us.
We'll operate a contactless arrival and departure system, including a daily temperature check. Parents/carers will complete relevant care information online in advance.
Children must bring their own drinks, snacks and lunch. We will not allow children to share food or drink and will ensure hands are washed before and after eating.
The site will be throughly cleaned at the beginning/end of each day. The type of equipment on offer will be reviewed to ensure that it can be easily cleaned/disinfected. Touch hotspots will be regularly disinfected throughout the day. Equipment will also be cleaned/disinfected at the end of each activity. Surfaces will be cleaned before and after use.
Protective gloves and face masks will be available to crew members if need. Gloves and masks will be worn when administering first aid.
You'll find that we're excellent value and also happy to accept childcare vouchers.
Book any combination of days - we guarantee a fantastic time. Compare our prices with what else is on offer in the area and you'll also find that we're exceptional value.
Regular Day: 10am to 4pm
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, we are unable to provide an extended day option. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
