Our regular day is 10am to 4pm, but you can extend it for no extra charge. Drop off between 8.30am and 10am and pick up between 4pm and 5.30pm - the choice is yours.
Late collection is charged at £15 per child, per hour or part hour. Please ensure that you arrive in time to have collected your child by 5.30pm.
On arrival each day parents must accompany their children to sign in. Parents must tell a crew member before picking up children. Children are not allowed to leave with adults other than a parent unless previously arranged with us. Even with written authority, children are not allowed to leave by themselves. For the children's safety, we do not allow visits unless they are pre-arranged
Children should not bring valuable items to day camp (phones, iPods etc). We take no responsibility if they are lost or damaged.
When it's sunny please note that we are not allowed to supply, or apply sun block and suggest that you apply it before arrival. A named hat is a good idea.
We provide unlimited water all day long and a choice of sugar-free squash at morning/afternoon break and lunch time. There is a choice of fresh fruit, biscuits and bread sticks at morning break.
Children need to bring a named packed lunch each day. If they are staying after 5pm a teatime snack is a great idea. We are unable to heat food or keep it cool.
Please do not include nuts or nut products such as peanut butter in your packed lunch. These can cause a severe allergic reaction in some children, even if they don't eat the nuts themselves.
Children should wear something comfortable (trousers or shorts are ideal); but please be aware that we can get messy.
No open toed shoes please. Please make sure that everything is named. It is very difficult to return items that are un-named. Lost property is kept for four weeks - we usually post all lost property on our Facebook page.
To comply with Ofsted regulations we must have a completed data sheet for everyone at day camp. If it's your first time, you can download one from the Downloads section on the right of this page. It will make signing in on your first morning a little quicker if you are able to download and complete this in advance.
We ask that you give permission on your data sheet for your child to be included in photographs and recordings that parents may take for their own personal use during the Friday performance.
During the summer, there is performance every Friday at 4pm. Everyone will be involved so we ask for children to stay for this. We stop for a snack at 3.45pm, so remember to send something extra.
Everyone is welcome to come and watch the show. Small friends and relatives are also welcome, as long as they are able to sit quietly through the performance. It should finish by 4.15pm, but children are still welcome to stay until the end of extended day (5.30pm)
We love birthdays and will make sure that children have a fantastic day. To comply with the Food Safety Act 1990 we are not allowed to share homemade cakes at day camp. If you'd like to send in a shop-bought cake, you're more than welcome.
All information exchanged with anyone involved in day camp is understood to be confidential, and will be kept that way.
It is everyone's responsibility to protect children. We have a duty to report any serious concerns regarding children in our care. We take any allegations against our crew members seriously and these will be investigated immediately. Our duty to keep children safe may require us to share information with others involved in protecting children.
Please do not allow children to bring mobile phones. Children are not allowed to use them and we cannot accept any responsibility for them if they are brought to day camp. If you need to contact your child or us, please use the numbers below. Please do not contact the school directly.
In the event of an emergency, you can contact us Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 5.30pm, on the following numbers:
Paul: 07825 167317 or Sheila: 07825 167327
We have at least one crew member who has been trained in first aid on site at all times. If your child has an accident we will administer first aid as appropriate. You will be asked to counter-sign the accident form when you collect your child.
You are able to give us permission on your Data Sheet to use hypoallergenic plasters if necessary.
If your child will need to take any medicine while they are with us you must complete a medicine administration form before leaving your child. We have a least one crew member on site at all times who is trained in administering emergency injections (subject to you having completed the appropriate consent).
If you have any concerns regarding our accident/emergency procedures, please do not hesitate to contact either Paul or Sheila, who will be happy to talk over things with you.
We love to know what you think, which is why we ask parents to fill in an online feedback form at the end of their children's adventures. This way we can find out about things that we do well and the things we need to improve next time.
If you have a problem while at camp, please speak with Paul in person. Alternatively you are welcome to call him anytime on 07825 167317.
You can also call our office on 01428 751656 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will do everything that we can to resolve the situation, to your complete satisfaction, as quickly as possible.
If you wish to make a more formal complaint, we also have a complaints book, in which you are welcome to record your concern.
If you feel unable to speak with us you are able to contact Ofsted directly:
